My beloved Dave Johnson replica has real 59 tuners on it that have been dipped in CA to help maintain the integrity of the brittle plastic and I am very careful on string changes to only hand wind new strings on the post, but one finally cracked right in half. I have some Uncle Lou's
replacement tips but they looks nothing like the shrunken vintage ones. What is a good source to get replacement tips that look very close to the original shrunken ones? Your help will be deeply appreciated.

Mummy toes! Haha

I emailed fake58 an enquiry 6 weeks ago- never heard back. I figured they were a shady operation. Have you guys received goods with no issues?

I've bought from them a couple of times without incident. It was a few years ago though, so can't attest to their current service.
