I started in February with the TV Yellow Junior...then in March I needed the Standard (Double Trouble!)...then I always feel like I need a backup, and Guitar Center had Cherry Sunburst Studios on sale. How am I supposed to resist that??? The GC Closest to me (Florence KY) had one, and I played it over a couple days...but it has some noticeable stand rash on the headstock, and although I liked it, I couldn't get myself to pull the trigger. Had time today so drove the 40 minutes to Cincinnati GC. At first I thought they didn't have one, but then saw it way way up high on a column, so I had my trusty sales guy (Ron at Cincinnati GC. He's been there a very long time, and he's great) snag it for me. No finish issues. Looked great Played great. Sounded great. Reasonable weight (7.8 pounds).

Obviously, it had to come home with me.

That's a real beauty, nice color on that one. Worth the drive. Congrats!

Never enough Les Pauls.

While well on your way, you're still a noob until you reach the double digits.

Man, you are on a roll. I love stories like this since it makes me feel more normal.

I love the top on the new one. So plain in all the right ways. I’m picturing aged parts for the double trouble. That would take it to the next level.
