Hey all,

I just picked up a gorgeous 2010 Les Paul Traditional Plus in honey burst. This is a bucket list guitar for me!

I was hoping someone could help me identify the initials inside the control cavity “RL”.

I’ve read about Randy Leonard and his son Ricky Leonard but I’m not sure if either of them would have been in Nashville in 2010.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I can't help you with whose initials those are, but I can tell you they are not mine (Randy Leonard).

Also, Ricky is my brother. Sounds like you're referring to my Dad, Floyd, and myself.

It could be for orientation of the control panel and the wiring stage, during assembly. To my eyes, “L” looks more like a “V” written with a lean to it.
That’s my guess. Any more pictures of the guitar?
