So just watched the Isbell Rig Rundown, time well spent.... and he spends a good amount talking about and showing Red Eye... So I've always wondered if there is a change in the way analine reacts to light through the years?... We all know how the spot got there, from the hang tangs and the guitar getting UV in the shop window.... But what I dont get, is the spot is still so vivid and red, and mustve gotten a bunch of UV rays hitting it through the years since it was hangin in the shop window in '59.... you vintage burst owners out there, do you notice through time does the red color stay longer, harder to fade?... More sensitive to UV when the guitars were young?.... or maybe its just because previous and current Red Eye owners have really gone out of their way to protect it from light... :hmm
