“Back in the day” ? I had a coupe of leather “strap button” replacements - small leather straps that had the strap button made on it. You removed the front strap button and screwed this in and it had a strap that was behind and came over the strap button to make sure your Les was safe. I’m really trying to find a couple of these for my Les Pauls. I’ve looked everywhere I know to know avail. Any info as to where I can find these is appreciated. Thanks !!!

I had those leather strap button replacements too, and they were awesome for keeping my Les Paul safe and secure. I recently found some similar ones online after a bit of searching. Check out music gear stores or online retailers like Amazon or eBay – they might have what you're looking for. If you want t fancy one - check out this guide https://vonbaer.com/blogs/blog/leather-guide-for-beginners. I hope you like it!
