• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

From what I've read here on the forum, the 60RI has a thicker neck than the Classic.

I think there were Classics made in lemondrop finish before (not any more though). I think forum member Trans-Am has one!

I've had both a Historic 1960 Reissue R0 and a Classic Antique and the necks were both the 60 slim taper
style. The R0 was in Lemonburst (not the standard color for R0s but you can find 'em from time to time)
and the Classic was in Honeyburst. However, as you can see from the pics below, the tops looked similar.

Thanks guys that 60 RI is what Im looking for:dude:

I'd let some of the LPF dealers know what you are looking for so they can notify you when they run across one (since the Lemonburst R0s are not as common as some other finishes). I'd start with Saul at Centre City, Matt at Matt's Music and Mark at Mark's Guitar Loft. One of them should find you what you want before too long. Good luck in your hunt!

Look for one of the Guitar Center reissues. The color is close, and you can always fade it a little more once you have it in hand.
