Anyone happen to know how deep the post holes are drilled in my LPC? The bridge sits fairly high off the body and the posts aren't even to the top of the bridge post holes, so I was pondering utilizing longer posts than the stock 1" length.

I don't know the depth of the bridge post holes, but

on my custom shop les paul, i removed the post and used a toothpick to measure the depth and found the holes much deeper than the bridge post length

so i ordered brass 6-32x2 brass threaded studs and used Big Bends Nut Sauce as lube on the threads and reinstalled. make sure you mark the new studs with the approximate depth, that way you know when you are getting close to the bottom, if your turn slowly you will feel it and then stop, you do not want to over tighten, because if it snaps, it's an issue you will not want to deal with

restrung and set action, marked studs, removed bridge and then used a Dremel to cut - restrung - done
