• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Gartone is indeed a prerequisite for a LPFUK meetup. I was so inspired on my first visit that I built my own tweed Deluxe, complete with Celestion Blue. It's a belter.

I'm going to see Martin Gartone in a couple of weeks, I hope to be able to get him to come along, maybe with a couple of amps.

Lets see how the mop flops on that one.

Returning to those threads it seems there was a leak in my Photobucket Paul. All the photos seem to have dribbled away..

If it is anything the last ones it will be a belter.

Like we say behind the scenes, we try to plan and organise things but once it comes to the day and everyone turns up it takes on a life of its own and that’s where the magic is; everyone who makes the effort to travel to the meet, bring thier gear along and share the love.

We’ve had some testing times recently but I think this will give us all a little bit of sometihng special to look forward to.

Can‘t wait to see some of the old faces again and meet some new ones.

Yeah Justin that photobollocks smash and grab give us all a bit of a kick in the balls.

Still, there's always the written wit and repartee to fall back on in the threads, I found myself chuckling like a wrong un re-reading them the other day.

Now then! I've heard the murmurs, so thought I'd dust off my login and see if it was true, and IT IS!

Great idea chaps, can't wait to see you all again. I'm on here VERY infrequently these days, and my account is attached to an email address that died many years ago, so I don't even get notifications either, but really excited for this!

I haven’t seen Martin for a while, so it will be great if he can come. He can talk for England mind you! Rick sent me some little demo videos a couple of weeks ago featuring a new amp he’s working on. I hope he can bring that.

Sam!!

Good to hear from you Pal.

Perhaps edit your e-mail address in your account to get notifications? Failing that, we'll always get word to you on what's happening.

Take care.

Woody, it's an easy fix for MikeSlub to remedy. He did it for me.

I wish I was in the UK for this! I've enjoyed reading of your past exploits, and would love to meet you all; especially Stu Castledine. We've been email pals for 20 years!

Rock on gents! :)(y)
