THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!
I've been using the 2466 head since 2007 and love it. However I've had the good fortune to see Paul Gilbert at the Frankfurt trade show play through the 2266c and his tone was phenominal.
I often consider getting the 2266c for when I don't feel like lugging a head and cab to a gig.
I had the 2266c, and was really happy with it, until it started some kind of rattle. I contacted Marshall and the guy who "made" them was trying to solve the problem, but I don`t think it ever got away completely (was a mode-problem).
Finally I sold it, but if the rattling problem is solved, I`d consider getting another one.
PS, the rattling only appeard on the combo, afaik.
