• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

That is gotdam perfect!!!!!! And worth every penny!!!
Thank you! It plays really well out of the box.

I like this cosmetic stuff but I’m real glad that players that can’t afford it at the moment can get just as good of a guitar from Gibson now for a lot less!

Do you know if Murphy changed the nitro formula, or is it the same as the Custom Shop?

I'm interested to know this as well. I would like to hear that the entire custom shop is now using this formula.
I'm waiting on a quote for a non-Murphy aged, but Murphy painted '59 355.

Addendum: Well, Gibson would not do a non-relic'd Murphy painted guitar. They have to be relic'd at least a bit.

I changed my order to an ultra-lightly aged '59 355 in watermelon. Waiting time is 10-12 months.

Gibson told us, when I ordered this piece, that this must be the year of 3X5's as that is the majority of what they are being asked to build from the orders received.
