• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Ok so i lied!
Notice the pickups (PAF mini-hums). but they have surrounds because this guitar was original slated for NY style single coils. They ran out, put the surrounds around the surrounds, and installed PAF mini-hums.

sweet, man!
I'd love to hear a tone review or clips of those mini-PAFs.

Man I wanted one of those Sheraton's so bad when I was a kid. I really did. I had to settle for a used 64 stoptail sunburst 335 that I bought from a lady on the next block in 1966. But I'd still love a nice Sheraton. Beautiful, Clay.:salude

Beautiful guitars! Now where are the folks who say that 3 piece necks are inferior?

Jeez tom i was barely alive in 1966!
heck you look better than me now though.
i caught up in years, unfortunately...

The neck is a "V" neck by the way.
strong V. The 1959-1961 Sheratons that
use the old NY made neck inventoriess are
like that.

Did any of you ever see Larry Henrikson's blonde Sheraton? It was the one brought to the first NAMM show by Gibson/Epiphone. Arguably the "first" Sheraton. :bug

I've owned two of those early ones and the necks are much more to my liking than the later ones, which tend to be narrow. :)

Cool Sheraton! I had a '64 Riviera with mini-PAFs, Royal Tan finish that sounded great! BTW, the "legs" on your Frequensator tailpiece are reversed...enjoy!

P.S. my Riviera had a beefy neck profile...and was wide at the nut
