THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and now have to move to a new host. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
WE ARE MOVING THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER OVER THE NEXT 5-10 DAYS. We will experience downtime during that period. Please be patient and have confidence that we will return! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin
The serial suggest it is a 2012 or a 2002..... if it is either case it has Burstbucker pickups. 2012 will have the Bi-Layered fretboard. The 2002 will not. A pic of the control cavity and close up of the fretboard inlays would help.
In any regard it's a nice GT R7.
7 = '57 reissue
2= Year made...(2002 or 2012)
1192 = production order....1192nd 1957 reissue of that year.....(this number includes all '57 reissues including Juniors and BBs not just Standard GTs)
2002 would also have the truss rod cover up against the nut, where 2012 there would be a gap between the nut and TR cover. Those inlays look pointy to me, I'm guessing 2012.
