• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Need some help dating this Les Paul Jr.

Your jr. is from Late 1960. Ser.# Starts with "0" and then a "1" is where there otherwise would be a space before the remaining 4 digits.
Sorry for your loss but welcome. Killer guitar.

1960 Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway - at first glance it appears to be all original.

Welcome here and sorry for your loss.

That's an absolutely beautiful 1960 Double-Cut Les Paul Junior!

I hope you are in a position to keep, cherish, and enjoy your father's guitars.

It's definitely all original. My dad was always one to keep everything as is to a fault. He wouldn't even remove the plate behind the pots on any guitar for fear of it losing value, lol!!

Juniors from the golden era are considered by many (myself included) to be some of the best guitars on the planet. What a nice memory to have of your father!
