NGD...1998 Fender American Standard Stratocaster

I just picked up this fine guitar after some monthly payments. It's a 1998 American Standard Strat that came with a Fender hardshell case. It has a unique body colour which I found out to be Plum Purple Metallic... colour code 793. It plays great and I haven't changed the strings on it yet. I have a set of Ernie Ball 8's.

I actually have a 98 std. Great guitar. Solid. I wish they would make those cases again.

You might want to double check that lower strap pin it looks crooked in that photo. Might be just the photo.

I did have to tighten the strap buttons because both were slightly loose. I think the photo might make it look crooked. Do you have any pictures of your '98 Standard? That would be fun too see. 😉
