Well, after UPS sent this to California and back causing a one week delay, and it was raining so hard yesterday I couldnt actually take a photograph, it's NGD. Picked this guy up from Dave's and love it; it's the brightest Strat I've ever played and for a real treble freak like myself, you couldn't ask for more. Also the compound neck profile is really interesting. It's pretty beefy, regardless, so I'm cool either way.

It sure looks beautiful, but I thought these were all going to have flamed maple necks. Now I see very few like that. Any idea why the spec change?

It's lightly figured on the back.

Dave had two sunbursts, I chose the one with the lighter / more subtle neck intentionally. It had the added benefit of being a bit cheaper.

As far as the line overall goes, I wouldn't know. I haven't seen one in person from the new run until this one.
