On behalf of Tom Wittrock - his Joe Bonamassa Burst experience!

Tom is traveling today, and I volunteered to post the photos of his magnificent experience with Joe Bonamassa this week.

Joe and Mike visited Tom's shop for a Burst and other vintage Gibby experience! Tom's band, the Bluesberries also had an informal jam with Joe for a few hours.

Tom said that Joe seemed really happy for the informal jam opportunity.

Tom also said that Mike Hickey is an awesome guitar player (I also experienced that when Mike was playing my Bursts unamplified).

Finally, Tom went to Joe's show. He sat through the soundcheck experience and the full concert. Joe played Sandy on six songs! Tom says "as I heard Sandy, I knew this was what she was made for. So, as I head to the airport for a trip to Germany and music playing, Sandy is off on tour with Joe!"

What a generous gesture on Tom's part! Knowing him and his love of these iconic instruments, and the pleasure of seeing them used to make great music, moved him to do this.

These were great memories for Tom. I know he'll add to this thread. I just wanted to get the photos up for him since he is traveling. I am humbled to serve as his publicist. :hank

It's great to see Bursts in the hands of a great player . . . and on stage no less! Happens far too infrequently these days.

A tip-o-the-hat to you, Tom! And thanks to you, Mike, for posting.

Just Awesome!

So now Joe B. is not only on tour, playing great music for the masses....but is doing a sort of "Burst" tour!

I love it! :hank

While I don't have a Burst (duh) I can appreciate how nice it is to hear your beloved guitar in the hands of someone that can make it sing. It's a pleasure to watch/hear and help reinforce why you enjoy it so much.

Wow, great.
And what are these heavy cases Tom's Bursts are living in?

EDIT: Oops, Todd beat me to it.
