opinion on a trade

Hi all, i have a question about a trade. My friend offered me 4500 plus a new prs studio 10 top for my Mike Ness custom #57. any thoughts please are appreciated?

If he's your friend and you aren't attached to the LP suggest an agreement where you have first right of refusal should he want to move the LP. You can agree on the exact terms. This way he gets the LP he wants, you make your friend happy, and you also have a path to get the guitar's true value should he want to sell. It's kind if like an informal loan.

It's win-win. Good for all.

He's not a close friend. Just having some thoughts incase this might be worth a crap load in a few years since they only made 100. I never played a prs studio either.

OK, then I'd keep it if you don't need to sell it. There's a better chance of value increase as it ages. It is a niche model but it's also limited to 100 guitars.

If the Jimmy Page #1 and the CC01A Gary Moore Signature LPs can have large value increases this probably has some room for a modest increase if you are patient.

Oh, hell no. Please keep the Ness. You can pick up a PRS 10 top any day of the week. Good luck finding another Ness.
