I have always been curious about the darker area on the top just above the fingerboard at the 16th, 17th and 18th fret.
It has a bit of a triangular look to it. Never seen that on any other burst and not aware of another burst example with this attribute.



I have seen a MIJ brand mimic that darker area on a particular extremely limited model burst copy.
