Yup, some of the 1961 345s had the first fret inlay.I don't remember seeing the red collection. Wow! Interesting that the 61 es-345 has the fret maker at first like a 355., and the natural has it at the third. Learned something new today. Thanks Mike.
I like them all. Played the 1964 cherry ES-335 with my band mates this weekend. Was channeling my inner envy of Eric Clapton.Wow! What fun!
The 1959 stoptail ES355, the Blonde 1959 ES345 and the 1962 ES350 are my favorites...but the 335s are pretty awesome too!
What are Mike S.'s favorites? (It must be hard to pick one - or even three or four favorites from that collection!)
The '58 has a big fat neck that feels really good to play. It is a great guitar!Oy vey Michael a bounteous collection of such goodness my boy, vot can I say !!
So cool, cheers Mike![]()
I may have asked you this before but what is the neck like on the '58 335, fat or otherwise.
And, is the cherry '59 355 a rarity in that finish.
