• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Guys...

I got a call from Long & McQuade (Canada's Guitar Center) telling me that the DiMarzio 36th Anniversary pup I have been waiting
for has become available sooner. It was on hold for a customer, but now has become available.

Great! I wasn't expecting it for another two weeks!

When I get it home, I notice the allen key that comes with all DiMarzio's missing, but that's not a big deal and then I noticed
that the serial number on the pickup does NOT match the number on the warranty card??

I dunno, should this concern me? I'm thinking this is a previously owned pickup that the owner didn't like so he took it
back to the store and traded for something else. It is possible. L&M have a generous return policy.
I mean how do I know he didn't swap magnets or something like that?

Do you lads feel I'm overthinking this? :peace2

OMG! I forgot about that!!....It has no need for a hex key, so why would they send one! I'm glad you pointed that out!
I have alway had DiMarzios with hex posts, so when I didn't see one stuck to the back I found it odd!

Thank you for that wake up call! :salude
