Were there ever any GT Customs in the 1950s?

Know there were black plastic GT LP "Standards" in early 1957.

love this! this is an old one which is a GOOD thing congrats! After year of being a reverb whore I found an 07 - very similar to what your doing, new pups replaces the bridge/tailpiece with a new PRS one, new electronics as well - LOVE the guitar - I know your going to enjoy this!

since my last post (# 8) in the thread I recently purchased a Korina lumber '58 V copy from circa 1998.
my folks in Japan however discovered the guitar has some issues once it reached their Tokyo facility so, I may not be getting this one.
this one is a serialized production example.

50’s standard, 2021. Hurricane Ida date stamp.
I’ve had it two months. Came with 57/57+ sounded dam good. Set of Camelots, now BB 3-2. All pickup sets sounded much better than I expected. And the only guitar that Burstbuckers sound very very good in.IMG_8746.jpeg
