So I went to go set up my 2021 custom shop r7 and I noticed one of the pole pieces (A String) is different! Question, would you change it? Seems to be more domed? Weird huh. It doesn’t really bother me but if someone’s holding a xtra nickel plated screw, I’ll be your huckleberry. Maybe it’s a special tone screw ?

I have a '21 R7...
I wouldn't, but that's just me.
When it comes to CS reissues of vintage guitars, whether it's Fender or Gibson, I'm aware of the anomalies of the old guitars - eg. some Les Pauls had slot head screw for the pick guard, some had Philips. I like my reissues to have quirks, too.
I recently took delivery of a Fender CS '59 NOS Custom Tele. It has a 8 hole single ply guard, where the 'norm.' was for 8 hole three ply. I've never seen one, but it probably happened. The big surprise, though, was a white switch tip. Never even seen a Tele, other than an Isbell model, with a white switch tip - even the catalogue doesn't specify a white tip - it's on the factory sheet that comes with the guitar, so I know it's deliberate, and can prove it's 'genuine'.
It was a shock, jarring even, initially, but now after a few weeks, it's part of it's 'character', to the point where if it got lost, I'd be scouring the 'net for a white replacement.

Likewise, my Custom Shop Historic VOS SG came with a Historic 'Les Paul CUSTOM' truss rod cover, instead of the 'Les Paul' truss rod cover... a quirky anomaly I enjoyed. 'Character' indeed.

Yeah, that screw imparts more toanzz!

The A screw is correct. It's the other 11 pole screws that are wrong.
