Viewed the Hellacopters DVD that just came out ...............save your money...wow what a disappointment. This DVD does a huge dis-service to a really rocking band.

What you get: Just a few snipits of tunes - in sound checks or at the end of their set.....when the tune is sort of falling apart. Note to band: play in tune, sing in key, strangle your sound engineer.....you sound muddy at best.

What you don't get: A glimpse of the raw rocking energy that is typical of a Hellacopters concert.........they look tired and rather bored. Also, there is no complete tune on the DVD???????????

I don't know the purpose behind releasing such a horrible DVD-----if the band were touring/ filming to promote their albums and to expand their audience, this abortion failed miserably. If they came to America to sightsee----they should have left their instruments behind .........man, I'm still shaking my head.

who are the hellacopters?

A Swedish rock band that uses Orange heads, Marshall bottoms, sounds like goood old fashion rock 'n roll . Excellent use of feedback and have some great lead guitar work. Tour extensively in Europe............have some albums out/ known for their kick butt live shows............haven't caught on much in the 'States. Go onto their website and check out their audio bootlegs from the scroll down menu..........they can play!!!
