Robert Plant's 1990 LP Standard Ebony

Gibson by way of Les Paul himself gifted Percy this promo guitar during the NY stop of 1995's Page/Plant tour, which he's kept and used since and has recently put up for auction to benefit charity.
Went for ~$27.7k!

~ 9.39 lbs. ~
Onstage with during his Priory Of Brion band days --

Presented to Robert backstage at the Madison Square Gardens in New York during the Page/Plant reunion tour -by Les Paul himself no less on October 27th 1995.
This is a Les Paul Standard in black supplied by Gibson, marked as 'Promo Not For Resale' including an original case that Gibson had a special engraved plaque with Robert's name on the case compartment cover. What a treasure!
Robert has used this guitar live, you can tell as it does have some mild fret wear. If you also look at the pics you can see him playing this very guitar with a few different people.
It is in excellent condition, well cared for and superbly well set up to play of course. It comes with a COA signed by Robert himself and is probably the star of the current collection.
All original hardware and electrics with pots dating the 33rd week of 1990. Includes the aforementioned 90's Gibson hard case and is a killer piece that we are sure will not last very long...!

1962 Fender Stratocaster Refin, ex-Stan Webb / Robert Plant
A guitar with a wonderful history and no doubt many stories to tell. Purchased from Stan Webb of Chicken Shack by Robert in the 1970s, we believe this was one of two Strat's owned by Stan. Robert and the other members of Led Zeppelin were big fans of Stan Webb and Chicken Shack having met each...www.atbguitars.com
