Yeah, it's pretty cool - I had a vintage '70 335 for many years that had faded to this color, so when I saw this one pop up at Norm's Guitars, it immediately caught my eye. Sounds great, too.Lo
Love that color!
nice when things work out...I'm not sure if Norm's is till open? I think so? I had some friends visit LA recently and it wasn't open due to CV, and I think Norm is pretty much never there if it is due to age and health. A great American guitar shop in the day for sure.Yeah, it's pretty cool - I had a vintage '70 335 for many years that had faded to this color, so when I saw this one pop up at Norm's Guitars, it immediately caught my eye. Here's my favourite 64 shipped a week after Clapton's. Got it 1989 and still gigging it.

Must be a good one! Original stop tail or trap conversion, and narrow or wide neck?
Original stop tail, early 65 so has wide and chunky 64 spec neck. Yip, it’s a nice one.Must be a good one! Original stop tail or trap conversion, and narrow or wide neck?
Nothing finer than a cherry 335!Perfect!
My same spec avatar 64 is my favourite guitar, despite stiff competition from my early 59!
