Sometime before my Dad retired from Gibson, he was able to purchase one of the workbenches that was used in Final Assembly. When the Nashville plant was built, this was the standard workbench for all Assembly and Repair people in Final Assembly. My Dad repainted the front, but it still has the same green on the back that was used on a lot of the old equipment. I'm in the process of getting it setup in my repair room. Now, each time I use it, it brings back a flood of memories of the thousands of guitars I built on one exactly like it.
