Don't mention it. :lol

Dude just lift the PU out losten the screws on the bottom of it and slide it out. Use a scredriver or something to push it through. Then slide the new one in. If it is out of phase then flip it.

Yea, what PT59 said. Loosen the 4 bobbon screws on the back
enought to let the magnet slide out, If it needs help, a set
of long nose pliers helps. The north side of the magnets
Should have a Magic marker mark on them, That side goes
toward the nonadjustable side of your P/U.
If it does'nt have a mark let us know and we can help you
with that also.

Charlie - what do you mean by "the nonadjustable side of the pickup"? I assume you mean the bottom?

He means the slug coil. Usually the magnets are marked on the edge that sits against the slugs in the slug coil.

Steeve,

You'll hear a very BIG difference when you'll put in alnico V magnets. Much more body and "woody" tone.
You'll maybe have to raise all the 6 polescrews (i/2 to 1 turn) to add some treble.
It depends on your taste.;)

I'm relatively new here so let me give you some advice. Use the search function at the top of the page, it's really helpful. This topic has been covered to death so most people won't feel the need to respond.

What RICH said. I thought (nonadjustable) would be
Clear because you can only adjust one coil of your
Pickup.
Anyway you would put the unmarked side of the
magnet toward the Adjustable Polepieces.:alcy :alcy
