Not sure if anybody knows about him, but he is the son of Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive guitarist Randy Bachman, and the nephew of drummer Robbie Bachman.
Tal Bachman had a small but classic hit in 1999 called She’s So High. I love that song. So much so that I wound up buying a copy of Not Fragile by Bachman Turner Overdrive at my local book store recently.
She’s So High was largely composed on the 1962 Fender Stratocaster that Randy Bachman owns, as well as a Rickenbacker 12 string electric guitar. And he also played a bunch of Gretsch guitars.
But this picture, taken in Newark, NJ in 2005, shows him playing a Gibson Les Paul. Not sure if it was one who belonged to Randy Bachman or if Tal Bachman owns one himself.
If Tal Bachman does own one, when did he acquire it, what year or model is it, what tracks did he use it on! Does he still have it? If so please let me know.
