Tele's are amazing. In addition - the '59 is my first Esquire, and it is also amazing - quite different sound than a Tele (brighter, bolder) - in a good way! The theory is there is less magnetic string pull because of the single pickup.I honestly never liked Tele's when I was younger.
Then a few years ago I got one.
Not vintage like these beauties, but my God!

They all play and sound great. I'm currently having lots of fun with the Esquire. Played it quite a bit last night with band rehearsal. I've never been a single pickup guitar lover, but this guitar sounds like it's from another planet!“Tele” us all about which one sounds the best!
