35 years of strats and I finally found a tele I liked , it's the pro 2. I'm able to get great tones from every position, blues, Funk, hard rock, everything but metal. Now I'm curious about the vintage style models in the vintera line. Anybody able to tell me how much difference in the tone, and what style of music the vintage models are best for?

I've always enjoyed the higher altitudes.

I took me 35 years to finally appreciate the Telecaster, now I don't have any use for my Les Paul. When I go from my tele to the Les Paul it just sounds dull, and the bottom doesn't have any definition. Selling the Les Paul to fund a tele build.

Took me 47 years but I got my first Tele for Xmas. 40th Anniversary Squier Dakota Red and I'm liking it!

When recording anything .. the tele always seems to do what’s required and makes the cut..
