The juice is worth the squeeze here. Vintage gear galore. They dont look or act like the Beatles but the performance is 100% spot on, even Lennon's crappy guitar solos note for note. Very tough album to do live by any standards . Nice 64' SG and '57 GT, 60's Epiphone Casinos, '61 Sonic Blue Fender... etc...If you know the Analogues , you know .. enjoy!

Good stuff; I've watched their stuff online.

On this side of the pond, we enjoy The Fab Faux, comprised of session guys including studio band dudes from Letterman, Conan (Will Lee, Jimmy Vivino) respectively. Vivino also does video work for Gibson.

Tangentially, drummer and vocalist of the Fab Faux (Rich Pagano) also does a take on another artist, Elton John in the 'Early Elton' trio, which features Jeff Kazee of Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (piano, vocals) and John Conte of Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes (bass and vocals).

Fabulous live, and they were very cool, approachable, and keen to talk music and gear after the show. Worth seeing if they tour (generally NE and MidAtlantic US) or you are in their homebase of NY Metro.
