I had a CS model years ago. I purchased one of the last reissues for 800 new but sold it when they were going for $3000 about a year or two ago. As much as I don't like FMIC I'll probably buy one of these at some point.

If you are able to tolerate heavy gauge strings for any length of time, this might be the bass for you.
