THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

The new guitars have to be "dipped".

That's my grandson's job at the factory.
I'm lost too.
What are the guitars dipped in? Mojo sauce from 1954? Lava? Blood?
Does your grandson have the appropriate qualifications to "dip" Jrs? Does he have his dipping license?
Of course I'm kidding about the last few sentences - but it's a serious questions: into what are these guitars dipped and why is it so important?
