I think the concept of "tone's in your hands" hasn't landed around here yet.:salude

That's why Jimmy doesn't sound like Bloomfield - his vibrato is totally different. Hey but give Mr V some credit - he's not trying to copy Mike, he has great chops, and he got the gig!

While I think Mr. V was very cool, the man they should have had playing would be Duke Robillard. He has the masters down. He can totally nail Albert King and BB King and I bet he could nail MB style and tone without sounding like someone trying to sound like MB.

That was a great video! Old Al still sounds the same (he's lookin' a little stiff, isn't he? Somebody poke him and see if he's still breathing). Cudos to Jimmy Vivino. I don't think he was trying to channel Mike, but to pay tribute to him, and that I think he did very well. I can only envy him.
