• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Right after Michael Jackson died I saw Dennis Edwards in a small club. The vid was good but some songs shouldn’t be covered. 🤬

Really?
Whoever they are, they're money to my ears.
Official.

Darryl, Pat, et al are multi-million selling rock-pop stars / seriously legit professional musicians doing a cover...
hence this wryly ironic attempt at humor. šŸ¤™

Gotcha.
I didn't know who they were...just that they were nailing it!

I thought everyone knew who Darryl Hall was. If not from Hall and Oates, from his Darryl’s House stint - which in my opinion, might have been even better than H&O.

Most, if not all, of these songs were studio enhanced. You can clearly hear the transition to live near the end of this one but…it’s still worth a listen. Joe Walsh at Darryl’s. (ā€˜cept he’s playin a Strat : /)
