THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!
Great - appears as if a class action suit is looming. I'm so glad there is this legion of these attorney's selflessly looking out for me the little guy.
So, not being versed in US legalise jargon, WTF does all this mean to us Limeys? I'm serious in asking this. What are the ramifications of a successful conclusion to the action?
There will be a settlement of some sort for the benefit of the dealers who were cut out of the loop. I doubt there will be any benefit to the end user customer. If a defendant manufacturer thought it was being pressured improperly by GC to limit the number of dealers other than GC to carry their products, then they would have filed an indemnification claim as a result of this suit. Meaning, you got us into this mess, you get us out. :hmm
