Who is the better guitarist? Someone with the greatest dexterity and understanding of theory or the one whose playing makes folks dance or cry? I'm not trying to bait anyone. I'm old, and Taylor Swift's music doesn't speak to me. In my world, Clapton, Townsend, Zappa, Gilmour, and Eric Johnson are guitar gods. Their playing moves me emotionally and on a technical level.

However, I remember people making fun of Ed Sheeran a few years ago, and I said then, "Take an acoustic guitar and a looper, and see how long you can hold the attention of the masses at Wembley Stadium like he did." I'm not fan of his either. I think I have better songs and better skills, but I don't see me packing Wembley and having such a massive impact on generations of music lovers.

In short, Taylor Swift might not be a virtuoso. Let's cut to the chase: she isn't. But her guitar is a whole hell of a lot more powerful than mine and yours. So beetcheez, Shake if Off.

I do not know one song from these guys exept John Frusciante and I will keep it that way.
For me music died around 1974 with some exeptions.
But that is just my personal opinion.
