• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! Let us know how it is going! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

To all Veterans, Thank You.

Ditto, thanks!

My father also did two tours of Vietnam (101 Airbourne Rangers out of Fort Benning) and 1 tour Korea.

Thanks for your service to our great country.:dude

I'm thinking if my dad, passed on 7 years ago. He was shot down over Austria in '44 and spent 18 months in German captivity. He never really got over the whole ordeal. You're right TT, we owe all the Vets more than we can imagine.

Thanks to all the veterans who are much more courageous than I could ever be.

I admire their bravery and I marvel at their sacrifices for our country.

God bless them all.

My grandfather was with one of the Army units that had to deal with the concentration camps in 1945. He never said a single word about his experiences up to the day he died, only that he was there. My mom has his uniform and other personal effects, I have considered finding out what unit he was in, and tracking exactly where that unit went during the war.
