Got my Faded Studio back from the luthier. Full set up and replaced the burstbuckers with a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and JB in bridge.....

I like the feel of those mahogany studios. Are you going to leave it "raw", or are you going to use some type oil or wood treatment product on the body?

That's not a 'faded studio' as you put it. That's a Vintage Mahogany with the pickguard taken off! And I can't think of any reason in the world you would take the Burstbuckers out of it,but that's your call. Good looking guitar though and congrats on the beautiful collection.

Thanks guys. I'm not going to treat the wood or anything, I like the worn look and will let it age normally. As for removing the Burstbuckers, they don't lend well to the type of music I play. I will be selling them on Ebay soon. They are great pickups, but not for me.
