I wish they would not install tuners with screw on bushings, but that seems to be a custom shop upgrade ..still glad to see a new cherry face though

Yeah, USA 'Original Collection' means 'original design shapes made using contemporary USA 'Craftory' processes'. Only Historic Custom Shop aims to employ old school processes. At least they are consistent with their behaviors in this regard, and having unified production process in the USA plant allows for variations in model runs while keeping the price in line.

Those look very nice - no lighting bolt bridge - correct location of bridge !
I’m curious what implication this has on tone or playability? It’s been ages since I had a non-lightening bolt wrap around bridge, but I remember liking it. Just can’t remember how it felt or might compare to my current lightening bolt setup.

I can make assertions as far as tone goes - just looks correct - tis is a subjective opinion .

If it sounds like a good Junior then I'm fine with the contemporary USA 'Craftory' processes :) Especially if they keep the price reasonable!!! These are much cooler guitars than the old boss was tring to peddle on us!

My new USA Special sounds great, and the 3 other ones that I played all sounded good too.
