• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I hope this is not considered improper Forum etiquette (I will delete this post if it is)...but I have a 1995 ES 335 Dot that I plan to sell and I'm trying to get an idea of what sort of money these are going for on the used market? I realize that prices are probably all over the map (especially on Ebay)... but I'm interested in hearing what people here feel to be a "fair" price to ask for this guitar? MF and Music 123 currently have these avertised for $2850 on their site (my guitar has the Antique Natural finish which commands a $500 upcharge over Cherry and Sunburst).

Here's the details:

1995 ES 335 Dot in "Antique Natural". Mint condition (no dings, dents, scratches). A bit of "aging" on the Grover tuners... but that's it. Heavily flamed top, back, and sides. Original hardshell case.

Great guitar...I just don't play it enough... and I need to drum up some cash to help off set the cost of a Les Paul I just bought. Any comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Saw a '98 Natural 335 with Seth Lover's in it a few months back. It was reduced to this on the second listing.

They are all over on Ebay as you stated. Maybe $1950. I would guess on Ebay. Seems to always be a lot of 335's on there. A lot of other finishes sell from in the neighborhood of $1400. - $1750,1800..

Too bad I didn't know - I have a very nice '02 Standard in top shape I would have traded you.

Thanks bluesjuke! Judging from what I found (Ebay, new advertised prices, used dealer advertised prices) $1950 (ish) was also what I was thinking for a "fair ballpark figure" to ask for the guitar. Being a "Les Paul junkie", I'm just completely out of the loop when it comes to these ES models!
