Watch out! There's a guy selling a current ABR-1 bridge as vintage on Reverb with a vintage box for a lot of money.

Help me out here bro, what does a real one look like, and what is it about that bridge thats wrong as I would have got sucked in by that one.

The letters on the back have a round edge - just like any current model from Gibson. A vintage one would have a more sharp and squared edge. There are other tells but this one is the more obvious one.

There are several tells that this is obviously a Historic or a more modern reissue piece. It looks like the ad was taken down though. I hope an unsuspecting buyer was not bamboozled by this piece. Caveat Emptor.
