I kept telling myself what I really need was a solid low volume and headphones practice rig.

What I really wanted when shopping was obviously...

Incoming KMA Wurm v2, and Coffee Can SRO15. The doom heavies won out over the practicalities.

I am so looking forward to plugging the Wurm into my Hiwatt, and then running that through the SRO in a 1x15 cab sitting on top of my Bogner 4x12B copy loaded two alnico SRO12's and two Fane Medusa 30's. I've done this before I blew my current SRO15, and holy ginormity Batman.

You can rig that into something akin to headphones, right?

Tbt there is a particular IR loader that is also made by KMA I am gonna get down the line, but it was a little more expensive, so I'm gonna wait till after the beginning of the year to get that.

It has three really great sounding IR's (Greenback, V30, and M65 Creamback 4x12's), and spots for two more which I will then look for an alnico SRO12 and SRO15 IR to load in the last two spots. The 15 will do double duty for bass and guitar.

In the meantime I am just going to use my pedals and Full Tone TTE into my SansAmp for headphone jamming.

That is gonna sound so sick with my P90/Staple pickup LP Special tuned to A Standard, and my other guitars in low tunings. I'm freaking excited af. It will be perfect for the A standard tuning doom song I started putting together riffs for as I watched election coverage last night. That last sentence may contain irony.
