Is that at his shop?
Yes at his shop in Springfield, Missouri--3 weeks ago. My wife & I were visiting friends in Nixa, MO which is located in-between Springfield & Branson Missouri & I was able to go to his shop meet Tom & his beautiful '59 Burst which was very special for me. He was so nice & treated me like I was his best friend--definitely a great experience. Here's a 'screenshot' of his shop.

Tom's a regular at the Arlington show each year, he along with a few others have been going since day one in the late '70s, it's a pilgrimage of sorts for those in the USA. He encouraged me years ago to come to the show.
We talked about all things guitar(and a lot of other topical stuff), he said that he's divested himself of most of his LPs in recent years.
Affable as ever and good to see him again plus his pals Geoff, Chris and Demir who is a german LP trader.

I didn't want to be rude and be a buttinsky

Ha ha! Somebody should write a song about that!

Make it where the guy trying to butt in had something of great value to tell the other guy, but just couldn't get in a word edgewise

I just bought two guitars at Tom's shop, this month. One of them is a fantastic Les Paul. I've known him since the late 90's. He's always been good to me, and I've always thought of him as a friend. I live down the street from his store, and try to visit as often as I can.

Good for you & Welcome.
When you see him, please tell him we are many who miss him. I think I can say that on behalf of most members that joined LPF before 2020.

After dealing with a couple of asshats on here recently, I'm starting to remember why I walked away from this place years ago. Maybe Tom feels the same.

Never met Tom in person, talked to him either on here or via other avenues. You have to understand he was here for years, and probably got tired of online forums.
