I saw the photos early today...
Are you sure they were not just black in the dark? :wah
I saw the photos early today...
The famous burst that Claude Raines played!
I would leave the rings on the guitar. Taking them off and storing them would allow them to shrink. The holes would no longer line up rendering them useless. Resized the pics.I think if it were mine, I would retire those pickup rings. They look "tired".
any comments? (besides the refret & switch tip,
pickguard is present but removed for this pic.)
serial number 8 2135. i mean i'm having a
hard time finding any issues. talk about an
early serial number!
I have this guitar with me at the moment. I wish I knew more about it. It seems genuine but the serial no is from 58. I was told it was a 56 GT conversion from way back.
Do you have any cavity photos?

I've got the rear cavity pics and heel but I'm not removing the pickups as I don't want to disturb the rings. Sorry bout that Tom.Yes! Please post some cavity photos, including the neck pickup cavity.
