• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Serial Number looks like 0 1956 or 0 1056. Don't ya think?

Looks very clean! Maybe it's one of those tone turd bursts we've all heard so much about. :spabout

I saw this post last night before going to bed and thought how long before someone makes this comment.

Just because a guitar is clean doesn't mean it's a turd. Could be someone bought it and never learned how to play or any number of other possibilities.

With respect to Jim Singleton, all his guitars are super clean, as to me he disassembles them and cleans all the hardware, ect.
At the Philly summer show in '08, I couldn't get over how clean and shiny all the guitars were, so no surprise this one is so clean....:ganz :ganz :wow

That's so clean it could pass for a pre-2009 historic at first glance.
Great looking specimen! I wonder if its that bright in person and how close that color is to brand new '59's from a few months before.

As they said about Rolls Royces, if you have to ask, you can't afford it.....:rofl

As they say about "call for price",

if you have to call, it must be overpriced. :ganz

So, does anybody know the asking price? :hmm

Oh, one other thing....
That guitar is more proof that Brazilian rosewood doesn't have to be extremely dark. Historic owners take note.
