Hardtail hard sale?

I've decked the trem on both Strats I've owned. I'd much rather have a hardtail. I just don't get along with a wiggle stick.

I prefer the hardtail. . . and on the ones with the tremolo, I deck it with 5 springs and a 4" bar just in case I want a little warble.

I prefer Bigsby when I want to tremolo myself!!

BUT. . . with that said, the regular floating tremolo on a Strat makes it sound more like a "Strat" to my ears - for whatever that is worth!!

Luckily they are our guitars and we can do whatever we want with them!!

Every hardtail Strat I have ever owned [or seen] came with tremolo.
Just sayin' ... :ganz
