I know it's safe to have less impedance, not sure about more. I don't know ....somewhere between nothing and blowing the output tranny???

Actually the opposite is true. Too little and you'll over stress the OT.

Marshalls are the LAST amps you want to be dicking around with the impedance.. Set it correctly unless one likes to source old replacement OTs.
