Having right at ~40 guitars is a blessing but it's also a curse.
If I had to pick only two guitars I would have some major anxiety and I would have to self medicate. ?
Variety is the spice of (guitar) life .......

If I had to choose two, of the collection I have today, I'd keep my 94 studio, and my rosewood neck tele. It covers the HB & single coil bases and both of them feel fantastic to play.

I may have a thing about hard tails, because none of my trem guitars make the cut (though I might grab a les trem for the studio at some point)

I have many guitars including my '98 American Standard Stratocaster which I adore but I also love my two Les Pauls and my 1952 AVRI Fender Telecaster that would be a nice second choice. :)
