still have all the original parts and no broken solder joints for the stamp collectors.Mine is without modifications on same readings about. Stopbar and tophats make it with your mods kind of towards Les Paul Custom - nice L5-S anyway. I like mine with reflector knobs, suits the style with L5-S tailpiece. Did yours have TP6 tailpiece? How much more that did weight?

I bought my first L5S at Gruhn’s a number of years ago while my wife & I were visiting Nashville. I ended up trading it in at CME for one with cleaner gold plating…..My wife and I were in Nashville last week and I saw these are Gruhn Guitars:
